After 11 minutes, Patric Bierhoff made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Schurke F.C's Marcus Keller tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Alp Enginalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Marcus Keller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alp Enginalp got free with Marcus Keller in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Jürgen Spalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Schurke F.C booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Özol didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patric Bierhoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Keller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Patric Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marcus Keller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Alp Enginalp sped through Schurke F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Keller. In the 89th minute, Berkay Şahiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The istanbulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. istanbulls had played much better football throughout.
