If Nickolai Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes CA Malvinas Argentinas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimir Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. Arnaldo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Nickolai Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th play minute Nickolai Nickerson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Dimo. 2-0. If Nickolai Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolai Nickerson in the 38th minute of play forced CA Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Alonzo Gaskon in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Tomasz Jakubowski.

The wind increased when Hugo Ulizes made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Wilfredo Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when CA Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janko Seeliger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Nickolai Nickerson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Dimo. CA Malvinas Argentinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nickolai Nickerson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 57 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Nickolai Nickerson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Dimo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nickolai Nickerson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Dimo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vladimir Capixaba in the 63rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CA Malvinas Argentinas's goalie and right to Geovanni de Medeiros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CA Malvinas Argentinas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Vladimir Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Dimo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nickolai Nickerson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Dimo saved CA Malvinas Argentinas from getting behind. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Sedeni in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Dimo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti was substituted for Nickolai Nickerson. After 75 minutes CA Malvinas Argentinas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimir Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Vladimir Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnaldo Dimo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 77th minute of play forced CA Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Ancelotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Carlo Ancelotti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CA Malvinas Argentinas's Filiberto Cidro was substituted for Alonzo Gaskon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 84th minute of play forced CA Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Arnaldo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Filiberto Cidro in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Tomasz Jakubowski. 88 minutes in the game Filiberto Cidro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Janko Seeliger. CA Malvinas Argentinas's Arnaldo Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Ancelotti in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, CA Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Ancelotti came free, but Arnaldo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Cidro made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Rei Bolas. Arnaldo Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 94th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Carlo Ancelotti put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnaldo Dimo. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA Malvinas Argentinas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel.
