After 10 minutes Boca Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dimitri Bougault who took care of the corner kick. Primitivo Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Cadart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Monnet got free with Primitivo Fernanco in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Pepito Santalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Kajdasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Bertran in the 19th minute of play. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Cadart in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Herblay's Dimitri Bougault dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Bertran came free, but Ludomil Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomil Kajdasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Herblay's Primitivo Fernanco threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Norbert Cadart, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Nuno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Kajdasz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Primitivo Fernanco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Cadart, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Billy Magnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herblay's Ben Girouard was substituted for Billy Magnin. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Billy Magnin hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Pepito Santalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. Léon Monnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca Juniors's Maximo Bordat was substituted for Bartolo Nuno. Ladislao Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Kajdasz having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ladislao Bertran made a precise shot to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz. Herblay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ben Girouard hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Cristian Villarreal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ludomil Kajdasz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Cadart in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Léon Monnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léon Monnet in the 86th minute of the match. Herblay's Mustapha Monteillet was substituted for Norbert Cadart. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Cresenciano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ludomil Kajdasz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Léon Monnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
