With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Szuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Cesur Yesar came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Cesur Yesar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnold Szuper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mateusz Matusiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Szuper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateusz Matusiak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Mateusz Matusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over 1461 Trabzon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Szombathely Squirrels throughout the match.
