The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Frutos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio-César van Beek was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio Norte FC's zone, Richie Carmona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Ospetsu came out of the goal and Richie Carmona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Frutos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio-César van Beek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Frutos ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio-César van Beek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Altza Herria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Castelao to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Frutos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio-César van Beek. Osvaldo Frutos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Osvaldo Frutos had several of the Altza Herria's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Julio-César van Beek as he didn't even see the shot coming. Barrio Norte FC's Hao Jian Yuan was substituted for Yerko Son. Hao Jian Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Julio-César van Beek made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Altza Herria's goal looked a bit too open when Hao Jian Yuan came free, but Julio-César van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altza Herria's goalkeeper Julio-César van Beek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Barrio Norte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Ospetsu should have stopped the shot. Altza Herria's Julio-César van Beek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Altza Herria from getting a goal against them.
