The audience was convinced that Marcos Saavedra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Kissas was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Melas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Altza Herria were awarded a corner. Tạ Colado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tạ Colado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Altza Herria made a substitution. Angel Castelao replaced Conrado Pastor. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Melas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Kissas should have stopped the shot.
