Gianluca Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Helström in the 34th minute of play. If Jörn Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Jörn Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haakon á Borg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Defensores de Lombroso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Erik Nordal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Nordal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluca Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jörn Helström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gianluca Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Helström in the 91st minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Gombal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Haakon á Borg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gelacio in the 97th minute of play. Although Defensores de Lombroso had been in control for most of the match, Cura del Futbol still came away with the win.
