Ali Nurettin started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Bryan Krafft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Ali Nurettin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batıhan Özbil. The goal made the score 1-0. Kaplan FK's attentive Suelo Montana managed to snatch the ball when Cristian Gallo made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. When Saruhan Şenbay came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kaplan FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saruhan Şenbay couldn't finish the play. Suelo Montana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jeronimo Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Saruhan Şenbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kaplan FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Gallo was slow to take the kick. During this time Pinner Cluj-Napoca's players had a chance to rest. 36 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Saruhan Şenbay came free, but Jeronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Rainerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saruhan Şenbay went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee gave Kaplan FK a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lothar Beckenbauer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jeronimo Rainerio. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saruhan Şenbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Ghiondea to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saruhan Şenbay in the 54th minute of play forced Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jeronimo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Nurettin took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batıhan Özbil. Batıhan Özbil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 61 played minutes Kaplan FK got a freekick which was hit by Zekeriya Hinoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nurettin in the 63rd minute of play forced Kaplan FK's goalkeeper Batıhan Özbil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Pinner Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner. Cristian Gallo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Gallo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Batıhan Özbil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Batıhan Özbil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Mircescu in the 67th minute of the match. Batıhan Özbil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nurettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Codrin Birișu was substituted for Petruț Mircescu. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Emanuel Herlea replaced Adan Umea. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ivan Ghiondea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zekeriya Hinoğlu, made in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nurettin in the 78th minute of play forced Kaplan FK's goalkeeper Batıhan Özbil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Vasilache to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Adam Vasilache got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Ali Nurettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinner Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nurettin in the 96th minute of play forced Kaplan FK's goalkeeper Batıhan Özbil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
