To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Erubiel Chorche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Smolarek. Katowice i Kluczbork's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Chorche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Honorato Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Jaszcz in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Erubiel Chorche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Teobaldo Artizar made a precise shot to the right of Arkadiusz Smolarek. Katowice i Kluczbork's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Chorche in the 46th minute of play forced Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Laureys to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Alves saved SC Angrense from getting behind. Carlos Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Angrense getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hermenegildo Padilha hit a great ball. If Roland Laureys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Cordarrell came free, but Arkadiusz Smolarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. SC Angrense succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Katowice i Kluczbork had controlled the match.
