In the 3rd minute, Dave Di Filippo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dave Di Filippo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 俞冰帆 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Albirex Niigata FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harel Minsky took the corner. The corner led Hermanö Oilers's Harel Minsky to fire away a dangerous shot which 俞冰帆 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Luís Eduardo Loureiro in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Albirex Niigata FC's Polo Maldini. 俞冰帆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Hermanö Oilers from getting a goal against them. After the first half Hermanö Oilers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Dusett. Oskar Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Belém, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 俞冰帆 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Deo Mičánek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 俞冰帆, 0-2. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper 俞冰帆, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermanö Oilers's Delmiro Ruiz was substituted for Hjalmar Askelöf. After 66 minutes Albirex Niigata FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harel Minsky who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hermanö Oilers's Harel Minsky to fire away a dangerous shot which 俞冰帆 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Albirex Niigata FC's Polo Maldini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Eduardo Loureiro in the 68 minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Leonardo Sundin replaced Valentin Dusett. Ingemar Stålman struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. 俞冰帆 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermanö Oilers. The Albirex Niigata FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hermanö Oilers's performance. The match ended with a win for Hermanö Oilers.
