With a little luck, Deportivo Mukenio's Arnoldo Donzel got control of the ball when Kobe Haaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 25th minute of play. The corner ended in Mario Hever almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino did a great save. Aziz Akarsu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Arnoldo Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Gol in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aziz Akarsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mukenio's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Akarsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Walmyr de Alcântara in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Mukenio's Mario Hever. Erasmo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Donzel having to interfere. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ola Moland hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Quirino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by América-SC F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Hever was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Mukenio's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Deportivo Mukenio's Jean-Pierre Pogba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nestor Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Akarsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
