Alessandro Del Pieros short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Filiph Hägg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Del Piero in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiph Hägg saved Aston Villa FC from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Gunnarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicholas Ochavarri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osorio Ubago in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiph Hägg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Jonas Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Lund in the 25th minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiph Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Del Piero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giorgio Chiellini in the 33rd minute. The corner led JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Giorgio Chiellini to fire away a dangerous shot which Filiph Hägg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute, Alessandro Del Piero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiph Hägg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 38thth minute of the game Merrill Pryor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gombal Lidon came free, but Filiph Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Ochavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Lund in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Aston Villa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osorio Ubago came free, but Filiph Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Osorio Ubago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filiph Hägg, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Osorio Ubago made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Aston Villa FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joel Strömberg hit a great ball. Filiph Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gombal Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Angel Angosto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute of the match Aston Villa FC got a corner. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herbert Kristiansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalie and right to Merrill Pryor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Nicholas Ochavarri made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jörgen Dalkvist sent off a good shot on target. Nicholas Ochavarri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Gunnarsson in the 69th minute. Merrill Pryor took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicholas Ochavarri. Nicholas Ochavarri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Osorio Ubago might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiph Hägg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osorio Ubago ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Tim Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Ochavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merrill Pryor in the 80th minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiph Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jörgen Dalkvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Nicholas Ochavarri to make any attempt to save it.
