Mané Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Mammarella, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shantala Villamediana in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos de Brito got free with Amos Valcareggi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Mammarella in the 37th minute of play forced Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wasyl Misiorowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wasyl Misiorowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana did a great save. Walter Rudkvist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jano Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amos Valcareggi came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Jano Donato. But to his dismay, Jano Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zurlo Team's Amos Valcareggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Donato in the 55th minute of play. Amos Valcareggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zurlo Team booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Wasyl Misiorowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana didn't even have to move. Dário Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Valcareggi having to make a save. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
