Chico de Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jânio Loyola was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 7th minute Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ were awarded a corner. Chico de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Carneiro in the 11th minute of play forced Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Ron Tomkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Tomkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Carneiro in the 11th minute of the match. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Bohr in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Bohr in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Viana saved Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting behind. Ron Tomkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Unai in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Unai. Teofilo Unais short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Mané Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Chico de Brito came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Chico de Brito sped through Baby Snakes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ron Tomkin. Ron Tomkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Dário Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ron Tomkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Dário Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Dário Carneiro in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baby Snakes's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Bohr came free, but Mané Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Baby Snakes booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Unai to strike the kick off in the second half. Ron Tomkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Brito in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Dário Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Baby Snakes from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Teofilo Unai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Viana. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Unai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ made a substitution. Adam Kopacz replaced Carlinhos de Brito. Baby Snakes's İnanç Özben was substituted for Nils Bohr. After 71 played minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a freekick which was hit by Chico de Brito. 73 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Ron Tomkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Donato. The audience was convinced that İnanç Özben's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Viana was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Adam Kopacz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Rudkvist hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's Claudio Ubeda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 95th minute Jano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Baby Snakes.
