Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) San Antonio HotSPURS's Alonso Snider started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Pearse in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonso Snider in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bath Boyce saved Boroondara Milan from getting behind. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boroondara Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Norino was slow to take the kick. During this time San Antonio HotSPURS's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Everett came free, but Cesar Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Antonio HotSPURS's attentive Weldon Gibbs managed to snatch the ball when Rusty Reynolds made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Bath Boyce made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Weldon Gibbs sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes in the game Rusty Reynolds did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arty Shearn. 29 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Donio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Boroondara Milan's Jason Sperling managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Junior MacKenzie in the 35 minute of the game. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonso Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Boyce having to interfere. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weldon Gibbs in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Antonio Corley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bath Boyce. The goal made the score 2-1. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bath Boyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Paco Everett made the kick off in the second half. Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rusty Reynolds charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rusty Reynolds the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rusty Reynolds hit a great ball. San Antonio HotSPURS's attentive Junior MacKenzie managed to snatch the ball when Jason Sperling made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Alonso Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Boyce having to interfere. Paco Everett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Cesar Donio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Worsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Snider came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Snider in the 73rd minute of play. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Corley in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Sperling to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Artemio Norino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bath Boyce skillfully saved the ball. Bath Boyce came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by San Antonio HotSPURS's Alonso Snider. But to his dismay, Alonso Snider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Andres Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ned Mills to maneuver through the defense.
