Pedro Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Bondi in the 13th minute of the match. When Osvaldo Bernat came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Stellenbosch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Bernat couldn't finish the play. If Osvaldo Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Bernat came free, but Alessio Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bernat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessio Martini. Osvaldo Bernat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Gerke Krupp kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Alessio Martini was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Osvaldo Bernat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldo Bernat really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Alessio Martini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Bernat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Bernat made a kick off. The Stellenbosch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Alessio Martini was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 58 minutes into the match, Mao Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessio Martini. LA Lord Perez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mao Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Stellenbosch made a substitution.
