The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Michail Antonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes Empire of Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cvetin Luković who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cvetin Luković got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nestor Guillelmus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 9 minutes of play, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Satordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ladislao Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Harriet came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Elizabeth Three Lions FC defense, Ladislao Harriet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Satordi. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Satordi should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. Ladislao Harriet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Satordi having to make a save. Jesus Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Xanthos Fikias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Satordi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teukros Diplarakos was slow to take the kick. During this time Empire of Soccer's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ilmar Pregel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi did a great save. In the 37th play minute Ladislao Harriet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jesus Satordi. 3-0. In the 40th minute Richard Scholten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 43rd minute of play. Ladislao Harriet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Harriet got free with Jesus Satordi in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Scholten in the 72nd minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Empire of Soccer booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Scholten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xanthos Fikias in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Empire of Soccer were awarded a corner. Teukros Diplarakos went to the cornerflag to take it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elizabeth Three Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Empire of Soccer.
