Wit Beton might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ranolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wit Beton ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xanthos Fikias in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes Empire of Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szymon Pilitowski who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xanthos Fikias, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 34th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kraig Fred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nestor Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 59th minute of play. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Kraig Fred put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nestor Guillelmus. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Concetto Trasatti replaced Fran Tudor. 70 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beltza came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Ladislao Harriet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Guillelmus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Beltza in the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Orlando Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
