In the 10th minute, Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giannis Konstantinou. Giannis Konstantinou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 15th minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Konstantinou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Fredriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giannis Konstantinou came out and tried to block the shot, but Linus Fredriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 20th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Zelenika in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Giannis Konstantinou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Blue Warriors™'s goalkeeper Giannis Konstantinou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Fredriksson. A collision led to Blue Warriors™ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Börge Tidéksson hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Linus Fredriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Giannis Konstantinou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Zelenika in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. Giannis Konstantinou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybek Orcun, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Arixo. In the 47th minute, Santiago Cachorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Cannata struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Warriors™. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murat Zelenika to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Fernando Ciano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Murat Zelenika sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Blue Warriors™'s goal looked a bit too open when Linus Fredriksson came free, but Giannis Konstantinou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez got control of the ball when Pat Rice tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murat Zelenika got free with Juan Carlos Alvarez in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes Blue Warriors™ got a freekick which was hit by Muhedin Zovko. Blue Warriors™ made a substitution. Pedro Luiz Dantas replaced Yuan Bin Liang. Blue Warriors™ made a substitution. Eldar Huseinović replaced Beno Perzivović. Blue Warriors™'s Zumbul Nurković was substituted for Fabio Cannata.
