The supporters of Blue Warriors™ booed when KAYIHANSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktuğ Adar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue Warriors™'s Giannis Konstantinou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Şahtürk in the 7th minute of play. Giannis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Şahtürk in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Zelenika in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolai Vejtsbøl saved KAYIHANSPOR from getting behind. Nicolas Anelka hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Yuan Bin Liang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nikolai Vejtsbøl. KAYIHANSPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Luiz Dantas struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nikolai Vejtsbøl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Warriors™. When Blue Warriors™'s Murat Zelenika in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAYIHANSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute of the match Blue Warriors™ got a corner. KAYIHANSPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Muzafer Mašić ran over to the corner to take the kick. 26 minutes into the game, Aktuğ Adar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KAYIHANSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Warriors™ the free kick. A collision led to KAYIHANSPOR getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Aktuğ Adar hit a great ball. Nikolai Vejtsbøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Zelenika in the 27th minute of play. Blue Warriors™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Muzafer Mašić in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hasan Yergin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Konstantinou. Ahmet Hasan Yergin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 38 minutes into the game, Börge Tidéksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nikolai Vejtsbøl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42 minutes of play, KAYIHANSPOR's Cihangir Kerimhan made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giannis Konstantinou was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

KAYIHANSPOR's Gert Stenkvist was substituted for Ahmet Hasan Yergin. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murat Zelenika made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Blue Warriors™'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Anelka came free, but Giannis Konstantinou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giannis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Şahtürk in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murat Zelenika got free with Nikolai Vejtsbøl in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Onur Şahtürk sped through Blue Warriors™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giannis Konstantinou. The audience thought a goal was coming when Momo Falah got free with Nikolai Vejtsbøl in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Stenkvist in the 77th minute of play forced Blue Warriors™'s goalkeeper Giannis Konstantinou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cihangir Kerimhan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Murat Zelenika sped through KAYIHANSPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikolai Vejtsbøl. 85 minutes into the game, KAYIHANSPOR's Cihangir Kerimhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giannis Konstantinou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Nikolai Vejtsbøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Zelenika in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Onur Şahtürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KAYIHANSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. 93 minutes into the match, KAYIHANSPOR's Cristobal Inocente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Konstantinou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şerif Akmeşe kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Blue Warriors™'s Murat Zelenika got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blue Warriors™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
