Fermin Dolfo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Glogowski. Jerzy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Kosakowski in the 11th minute of play. Jerzy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Yalapa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Gall in the 17th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CF Apaches's goalie and right to Diego Armando Junior. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CF Apaches's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 23rd minute of play forced CF Apaches's goalkeeper Jerzy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerzy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fermin Dolfo sped through CF Apaches's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Glogowski. In the 32nd minute, Fermin Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Dolfo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Glogowski saved CF Apaches from getting behind. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Kosakowski in the 38th minute of the match. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Kodály in the 45th minute of play. Boleslaw Kornaszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Dolfo to make the kick off.
