Fabiano Parisi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Sampaio having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Genílson Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Felizberto EC the free kick. Genílson Costa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Anıl Oker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felizberto EC's Marcus Sampaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Felizberto EC from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The wind increased when Jeferson Furtado made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when Felizberto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Felizberto EC's Marco Freitas got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Romeo Mircescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Pombal 2003 F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Felizberto EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Felizberto EC.
