After 5 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Nisipeanu. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Júlio Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Chaves do 8 FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dieter Nisipeanu took the corner. FC Maci -MM-'s Sabin Miclauș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Júlio Varela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Igor Czapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Júlio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristan Falco stood somewhat misplaced when Arif Memduh Özkutay came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Júlio Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 30th minute of the match. Tristan Falco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Christie in the 32nd minute. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Chaves do 8 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Júlio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Vettel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Falco came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Vettel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. Sami Zübeyr struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Júlio Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sami Zübeyr was the one to do the kick off. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chaves do 8 FC's Júlio Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Chaves do 8 FC from getting a goal against them. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Felix Lucaci replaced Martin Costeiantu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Memduh Özkutay in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Falco saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Czapski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Júlio Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 91st minute of play forced Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Júlio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Maci -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chaves do 8 FC.
