Iwo Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Fruekilde in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi got a corner. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hüseyin Turan Uraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the KS Luxik Ruda Śląska defense, Louie Fruekilde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwo Dombroski. The KS Luxik Ruda Śląska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Dombroski should have stopped the shot. Ethan Linkletter made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stanislaw Kolbe however managed to control. 46 minutes into the match, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goalkeeper Artur Bînciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Carnicero. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Louie Fruekilde made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Hodas in the 54th minute of play forced SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goalkeeper Artur Bînciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwo Dombroski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Fruekilde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi made a substitution. The coaching staff of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arie Schenkhuizen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 94 minutes into the game, one of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Carnicero walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
