With a little luck, Yolo's Wieslaw Dec got control of the ball when Will Alderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Yolo's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Almiron came free, but Wieslaw Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wieslaw Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Almiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Greenbay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pawel Golanski in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Yolo's goalkeeper Wieslaw Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mesut Özil. In the 23rd minute André Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Will Alderson made a precise shot to the right of Wieslaw Dec. Yolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eugen Remus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten De Malier in the 28th minute of the match. Eugen Remus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Iurea in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Yolo got a corner. Greenbay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yolo's André Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugen Remus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maarten De Malier in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugen Remus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Greenbay's Eugen Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten De Malier in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten De Malier came free, but Eugen Remus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maarten De Malier was the one to do the kick off. Eugen Remus made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when André Silva sent off a good shot on target. Greenbay's Eugen Remus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Yolo's Dariusz Moryl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Eugen Remus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten De Malier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Mesut Özil got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Maarten De Malier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maarten De Malier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Özil in the 71st minute of play. Cristinel Iurea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugen Remus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wawrzyniec Kissel got free with Eugen Remus in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Alderson to maneuver through the defense. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Özil in the 82nd minute of play. Wawrzyniec Kissel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugen Remus came out and tried to block the shot, but Wawrzyniec Kissel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Mesut Özil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Wieslaw Dec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wojciech Klawke lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yolo! Wieslaw Dec had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Ashley Ross's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wieslaw Dec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ashley Ross went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yolo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Greenbay.
