The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fortín de Floresta the free kick. Cléberson do Valle hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Tomé Mota made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Salvador Hats sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as El Fortín de Floresta's Salvador Hats slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomé Mota. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Tomé Mota made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Salvador Hats sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Cléberson do Valle got a free kick in the 16th minute. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 17th minute of play. Cipriano Pinho's late challenge caught a El Fortín de Floresta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Pinho. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's Salvador Hats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match El Fortín de Floresta got a corner. Agua Santa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvino Tinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Hats in the 27th minute of play. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Hats in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, El Fortín de Floresta's Salvador Hats dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hats in the 55th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Salvador Hats made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Salvador Hats sped through Agua Santa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomé Mota. Salvador Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Hats blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Mota having to make a save. In the 76th minute Salvador Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. El Fortín de Floresta made a substitution. Eleuterio Palben replaced Silvestre Valiente. After 79 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Vianna. El Fortín de Floresta's Eleuterio Rio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olavo Vianna in the 83 minute of the game. Cipriano Aguilera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Mota having to make a save. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Aguilera in the 85th minute of play. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Stanislao in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute El Fortín de Floresta were awarded a corner. Alvino Tinto went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Lucio Stanislao at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Agua Santa. 8-0. Cipriano Aguilera struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tomé Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Fortín de Floresta. After some careless play in the Agua Santa defense, Cipriano Aguilera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Mota. The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Mota should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Fortín de Floresta had played much better football throughout.
