Salvador Hats started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Wieliczka's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Hats came free, but Marcos Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KS Górnik Wieliczka booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Górnik Wieliczka's Marcos Joseph proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save KS Górnik Wieliczka from getting a goal against them. After having played for 10 minutes, Witalis Pinczewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górnik Wieliczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witalis Pinczewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Wieliczka's Radoslaw Rasimowicz got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Wieliczka's goalkeeper Marcos Joseph had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Hats. Salvador Hats blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Joseph having to make a save. Marcos Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Hats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marcos Joseph made a huge save. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Górnik Wieliczka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvino Tinto was slow to take the kick. During this time El Fortín de Floresta's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Wu Bing Fei heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pablo Pelsø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witalis Pinczewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Joseph stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Hats's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Salvador Hats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Joseph. KS Górnik Wieliczka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Radoslaw Rasimowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Salvador Hats made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Joseph. KS Górnik Wieliczka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Górnik Wieliczka's goalkeeper Marcos Joseph, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Pisarczyk in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's Cipriano Aguilera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Cipriano Aguilera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcos Joseph was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Fortín de Floresta had won after a very even match.
