In the 4th minute Gino do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Kuido Suursaar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij. Daniël De Goeij was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaston Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gino do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Claus Himschoot made a huge save. Bruno Scibilia took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniël De Goeij. Daniël De Goeij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Daniël De Goeij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Scibilia's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Ljungberg came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuido Suursaar in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Doni Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Claus Himschoot. PomeziaRamblers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino do Valle got free with Claus Himschoot in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Scibilia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Freddie Ljungberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Ljungberg in the 44th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, PomeziaRamblers's Kuido Suursaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniël De Goeij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kuido Suursaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Ülger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Ülger in the 52nd minute of the match. Freddie Ljungberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniël De Goeij firmly grabbed it by the left post. Doni Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claus Himschoot having to make a save. After 59 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Iezzi. Daniël De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kuido Suursaar sent off a good shot on target. If Richard Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Bruno Scibilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Robert Lozovan replaced Gino do Valle. 75 minutes into the game, Raphael Varan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, PomeziaRamblers's Alfonso Iezzi got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 87th minute Adrián Frick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PomeziaRamblers's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Freddie Ljungberg was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Ljungberg got free with Daniël De Goeij in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PomeziaRamblers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
