Anthony Cullen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Guter in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tigran Khachaturyan saved Toqui Fc from getting behind. Tigran Khachaturyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipo Navarrete in the 14th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luís Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Casemiro Fe's late challenge caught a KN ZGORZELEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casemiro Fe helped the player get up and apologised. Tigran Khachaturyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Guter in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the game Abelardo Briones made a throw-in which Kurt Gerdberg played forward. With his leg Emilio Shepherd managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Toqui Fc's Luiz Massa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tigran Khachaturyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Toqui Fc's zone, Natalio Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tigran Khachaturyan came out of the goal and Natalio Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tigran Khachaturyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 37th minute of play. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tigran Khachaturyan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Natalio Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Khachaturyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Massa made a kick off. Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipo Navarrete, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Massa came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Kaleta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tigran Khachaturyan made a huge save. Tigran Khachaturyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natalio Guter in the 66th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos was substituted for Natalio Guter. Toqui Fc made a substitution. Germán Alen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Shepherd having to interfere. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Alen in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
