GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaby Rogers in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Wilson Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIADORES's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ter Stegen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When GLADIADORES's Wilson Andrade in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute, Wilson Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Binnech Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cianán McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ravelli having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute GLADIADORES were awarded a corner. Johannes Stein went to the cornerflag to take it. GLADIADORES's Johannes Stein was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ter Stegen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gilbert Jameson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 1948 MKS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilson Andrade 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wilson Andrade hit a great ball. Ter Stegen was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Wilson Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Michel Goiano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius was substituted for Wilson Andrade. GLADIADORES's Paşa Safih was substituted for Moisés Dayan. In the 73rd minute of the match GLADIADORES got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anacleto Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Rozarius in the 83rd minute of the match. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Goiano in the 88th minute of play.
