The supporters of Sabaneta FC booed when Arianos DM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Roi Vergas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Batalla. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Arianos DM from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Victor Bakar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Cempa in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bakar in the 18th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla got control of the ball when Rian Giggs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Stanislaw Cempa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Maiorga during the 20th minute. Sabaneta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Bakar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Arianos DM made a substitution. Lambe Conchas replaced Victor Bakar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lambe Conchas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Arianos DM defense, Yoel Magarinos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Batalla. The Arianos DM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Batalla should have stopped the shot. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Firman Urquizu replaced Bonifaco Corrillos. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was substituted for Fabian Lawrence. Firman Urquizu made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roi Vergas immediately put the ball in play. Lambe Conchas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Mier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Arianos DM made a substitution. Andres Ireno replaced Guaberto Furman. In the 72nd minute Arianos DM were awarded a corner. Delmiro Eate went to the cornerflag to take it. Arianos DM's Santiago Oinatz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kevin Mier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the game, Arianos DM's Lambe Conchas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Mier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lambe Conchas got free with Kevin Mier in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rian Giggs in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Batalla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lambe Conchas in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Mier saved Sabaneta FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lambe Conchas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arianos DM's supporters rose to their feet, but Lambe Conchas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Mier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petri Romuroso in the 88th minute of play forced Arianos DM's goalkeeper Augusto Batalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Batalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petri Romuroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
