FC NagelBitarna's Orvar Rudkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guaberto Paio in the 9 minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, FC NagelBitarna's goal looked a bit too open when Rian Giggs came free, but Piotr Giejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Sina Puro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piotr Giejda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rian Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sina Puro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kevin Mier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sina Puro in the 29th minute of play. FC NagelBitarna's Piotr Giejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 32nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Lawrence got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Giejda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kevin Mier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sina Puro in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sina Puro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Mier was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 39 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifaco Corrillos. Sina Puro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Kevin Mier made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Correia in the 45th minute of play forced FC NagelBitarna's goalkeeper Piotr Giejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC NagelBitarna's Sina Puro in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabaneta FC's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sina Puro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Malte Wallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rdth minute of the game Sina Puro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Mier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sina Puro's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Bonifaco Corrillos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NagelBitarna the free kick. 57 minutes into the match, Cássio Correia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC NagelBitarna's Piotr Giejda. Piotr Giejda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was substituted for Fabian Lawrence. FC NagelBitarna's Mattias Fagerberg was substituted for Leif Hedlund. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Firman Urquizu replaced Bonifaco Corrillos. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Firman Urquizu with Osmundo Bolde as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 64th minute Rian Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, FC NagelBitarna's goal looked a bit too open when Rian Giggs came free, but Piotr Giejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC NagelBitarna booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firman Urquizu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andréas Deckberg hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC NagelBitarna's Piotr Giejda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC NagelBitarna from getting a goal against them. Kevin Mier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sina Puro in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, FC NagelBitarna's goalkeeper Piotr Giejda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Correia. Sina Puro might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Mier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sina Puro ran back to his position shaking his head. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sina Puro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sabaneta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sabaneta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
