An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Bergqvist in the 4th minute of play forced Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Post, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Vahur Nirk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Sefastsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bennvar Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugurel Chiriloaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vahur Nirk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leopold Mineja kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Post, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 35th minute of play. Tapa Athlétic™ were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after National Team Cape-Verde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Madis Indrekson took the corner. Bennvar Post blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heigo Mustkivi having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez was substituted for Bennvar Post. The wind increased when Mugurel Chiriloaie made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Tapa Athlétic™'s Mugurel Chiriloaie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Sefastsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klas Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heigo Mustkivi having to interfere. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heigo Mustkivi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kalju Palk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Sefastsson having to interfere. National Team Cape-Verde's Henrik Tidén was substituted for Klas Bergqvist. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander was substituted for Tymoteusz Watarz. After 76 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Mineja. Fredric Melander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Heigo Mustkivi. Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghiţă Hagi came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Oskar Björkdal during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Oskar Björkdal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Carlos Alberto Tevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heigo Mustkivi having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Mineja during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Tapa Athlétic™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Mineja didn't get a good kick on the ball. National Team Cape-Verde's attentive Roland Björklund managed to snatch the ball when Leopold Mineja made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the National Team Cape-Verde players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tapa Athlétic™.
