In the 3rd minute, Teppo Kallioniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Paralia Athens got a corner. Galand FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonzalo Taibo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kim Hänninen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Cai went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Virgil Olariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Päiviö Koivunen in the 16th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gonzalo Taibo in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galand FC's Veikko Kärki. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Olariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Quintan in the 27th minute. Mike Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kim Hänninen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Manole Muncelean kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Fabricio Quintan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Virgil Olariu made a huge save. Fabricio Quintan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Virgil Olariu 32 minutes into the match. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teppo Kallioniemi in the 37th minute of play. Mike Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kim Hänninen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Fabricio Quintan made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Quintan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Paralia Athens defense, Fabricio Quintan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgil Olariu. The Paralia Athens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgil Olariu should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hänninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute Paralia Athens were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Taibo went to the cornerflag to take it. When Aron Nedelcea fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Aron Nedelcea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aron Nedelcea hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Eemeli Myllylä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paralia Athens's Virgil Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teppo Kallioniemi in the 66th minute of play. Mike Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Hänninen having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Galand FC's Fabricio Quintan made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgil Olariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Crivoi came free, but Virgil Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galand FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Paralia Athens's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eemeli Myllylä took the corner. 81 minutes into the game, Salomo Laukka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Virgil Olariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Cai in the 84th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Galand FC booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürkan Akaydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Teppo Kallioniemi came free, but Virgil Olariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Cai struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kim Hänninen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens. Päiviö Koivunen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Cai. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galand FC had played much better football throughout.
