Deivid Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ersen Bumba made a huge save. Ersen Bumba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tande in the 24th minute of play. Ersen Bumba came out of the goal and Deivid Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, The Best Ones's Nelson Correia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ersen Bumba was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Alexandre Tande capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Tande really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Quintal made a kick off.
