Matungo Gaúcho's Ademir Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Elek in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Balassagyarmat SC booed when Matungo Gaúcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Cromefeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balassagyarmat SC's Máté Elek got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Matungo Gaúcho's Marcinho Sena made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attila Mesterházy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when László Madaras made the kick off in the second half. Marcinho Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Borges in the 58th minute of play forced Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Mesterházy made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Marcinho Sena sent off a good shot on target. If Gilmar Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's 龙森景 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attila Mesterházy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilmar Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Florinio. Ademir Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Madaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Borges was slow to take the kick. During this time Matungo Gaúcho's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Juan Simon drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Balassagyarmat SC's goalkeeper. In the 81st minute Celedonio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matungo Gaúcho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilmar Borges in the 82nd minute. After taking down the ball on Matungo Gaúcho's corner 龙森景 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Attila Mesterházy quite easily take care of the ball. 龙森景 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilmar Borges came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Matungo Gaúcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Borges couldn't finish the play. 龙森景 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attila Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Borges in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Matungo Gaúcho's 龙森景 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Celedonio Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matungo Gaúcho's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
