Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal and Manuel Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Vale Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Merski came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vale Verde's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Ulryk Merski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vale Verde's Aron Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vale Verde's Hamílton Valle got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cristiano Messi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Messi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Vale Verde's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Merski in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Vale Verde got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Xavier. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ulryk Merski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Pusiak made a kick off. Ulryk Merski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Aron Dahlbom made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Messi in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Rutkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aron Dahlbom was a little too slow when Janusz Pusiak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. 2kC Poznań's Zachary Plaski was substituted for Stanislaw Kisielka. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 65th minute of the match. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 67th minute of the match. If Waldemar Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute 2kC Poznań were awarded a corner. Edgar Turak went to the cornerflag to take it. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Janusz Pusiak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Aron Dahlbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Janusz Pusiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Dahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 93 minutes Vale Verde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Turak who took care of the corner kick. Edgar Turak made a great header on 2kC Poznań's corner, it was just that Vale Verde's Aron Dahlbom managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute, Lucjan Sokol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aron Dahlbom, passed just outside the right post. The 2kC Poznań players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
