In the 15th minute of the match Råbi FF got a corner. Soulfly F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viggo Forsberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aşkın Özgunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arman Skräddare's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocelyn Care in the 22nd minute of play forced Råbi FF's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Råbi FF's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Auroy came free, but Karl-Magnus Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arman Skräddare got free with Aşkın Özgunes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arman Skräddare in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aşkın Özgunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Soulfly F.C. booed when Råbi FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Pacifico to make the kick off. In the 83rd match minute, Råbi FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Skräddare to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Magnus Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jocelyn Care in the 84th minute of the match. Erhan Değirmenci lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soulfly F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Aşkın Özgunes went to the wrong direction when Joachim Helander was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soulfly F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
