Claudio Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bladi in the 69th minute of play. Florian Hekman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Svetlozar Karamihov made a huge save. Svetlozar Karamihov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Gol's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The SCs StarS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
