Jedrzej Soszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amine Philibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Ground Control's Amine Philibert in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THE FAVOURITES's goalie prevented a goal. Amine Philibert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the THE FAVOURITES defense, Amine Philibert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Soszka. The THE FAVOURITES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jedrzej Soszka should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amine Philibert hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in THE FAVOURITES's zone, Amine Philibert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Soszka came out of the goal and Amine Philibert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piotr Skonieczny made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ground Control's Ibrahim Gaudel. In the 31st minute, Amine Philibert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Soszka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the THE FAVOURITES defense, Anton Karakevych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Soszka. Roberto Rojelio's late challenge caught a THE FAVOURITES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Piotr Skonieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ground Control were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, THE FAVOURITES's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Karakevych came free, but Jedrzej Soszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jedrzej Soszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Karakevych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Ground Control's Anton Karakevych ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jedrzej Soszka. Jedrzej Soszka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Amine Philibert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Anton Karakevych. Fabien Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Dulemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jedrzej Soszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Karakevych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes THE FAVOURITES got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Kon. In the 71st minute, Amine Philibert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amine Philibert had several of the THE FAVOURITES's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Jedrzej Soszka as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wasyl Lato during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in THE FAVOURITES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Ground Control's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
