But to his dismay, Erasmo Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Erasmo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Erasmo Cardoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 齐竞昆. The goal made the score 4-0. With 39 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Quinteros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rigoberto Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Valério Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 齐竞昆. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valério Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. 齐竞昆 made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Richard Saldanha sent off a good shot on target.

Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leoncio Mala, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
