Andrézinho Sergipano's late challenge caught a SV Barmbek von 1939's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrézinho Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Andrézinho Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Zafrilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Dionísio in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SV Barmbek von 1939's Fabian Wachtmann got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Pedro Augusto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Zafrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Zafrilla stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Augusto Dionísio came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. SV Barmbek von 1939's Baldomero Zafrilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Dionísio in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Paulista F.C got a corner. SV Barmbek von 1939's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandro Arantes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnaldo Catarinense hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Bob Laukenmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Laukenmann in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Goiano saved Paulista F.C from getting behind. SV Barmbek von 1939's Baldomero Zafrilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save SV Barmbek von 1939 from getting a goal against them. Kaká Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Laukenmann in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, Paulista F.C's Kaká Goiano got control of the ball when Bob Laukenmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bob Laukenmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Kaká Goiano made a huge save. In the 57th minute SV Barmbek von 1939 were awarded a corner. Jorge Insel went to the cornerflag to take it. Baldomero Zafrilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Augusto Dionísio went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Andrézinho Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jürg Pfeiffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kaká Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Paulista F.C's José Goiano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Zafrilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomero Zafrilla came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulista F.C's José Goiano. But to his dismay, José Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Werner came free, but Kaká Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, SV Barmbek von 1939's Bob Laukenmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1.
