Édouard Mendy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. KONDOR FC's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Woody in the 14th minute of play. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Woody in the 16th minute of play forced KONDOR FC's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KONDOR FC's Emilio Crema got a free kick in the 18th minute. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robby Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Robby Woody in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 24th minute of the match La Academia got a corner. KONDOR FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxín Bacarreza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led La Academia's Maxín Bacarreza to fire away a dangerous shot which Édouard Mendy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Kochanowicz came free, but Iwan Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KONDOR FC's zone, Francisco Alberto Zañartu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal and Francisco Alberto Zañartu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Mazuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Robby Woody hit a great ball. The KONDOR FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Academia were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franciszek Dembowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robby Woody struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Édouard Mendy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia. Robby Woody's late challenge caught a KONDOR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robby Woody helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Robby Woody hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Jorge Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Francisco Alberto Zañartu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, KONDOR FC's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robby Woody. In the 85th match minute, KONDOR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Dombrowski to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Setúbal scored 1-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Grocholski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Robby Woody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robby Woody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of La Academia booed when KONDOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, La Academia's Édouard Mendy threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Maxín Bacarreza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Édouard Mendy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the La Academia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
