A sloppy throw-in by Daşdämir Albändiyev in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MANCHESTER UNITED's Luis Advíncula. MANCHESTER UNITED's Anton Lalchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 40th minute of play. Capibaribe Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blasi Gabas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. Flóki Factor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anton Lalchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Factor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MANCHESTER UNITED manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Capibaribe Stars to win.
