If Bora Han Akbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Janosch Terpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Moench showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Mochowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Marco Moench successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Vester made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Barry McCray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wöllersdorf's Marco Moench was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Modlau booed when FC Wöllersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Winszman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Vester in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the FC Wöllersdorf defense, Barry McCray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Moench. The FC Wöllersdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Moench should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Winszman was a little too slow when Pablo Guerau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-4. The FC Wöllersdorf supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Wöllersdorf would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
