The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kurt Fogedby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mátyás Lisztes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerdt Trettvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerdt Trettvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Lisztes having to interfere. Mátyás Lisztes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Fogedby in the 7th minute of play. Mátyás Lisztes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Fogedby in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Szolnoki MÁV's Roland Varga got a free kick in the 12th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szolnoki MÁV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerdt Trettvik was slow to take the kick. During this time Long Dolby's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Long Dolby's Gerdt Trettvik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jimeno Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Varga in the 19th minute of play. Jimeno Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emesto Muñagorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gedeon Csákvári hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Fogedby got free with Mátyás Lisztes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Gerdt Trettvik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mátyás Lisztes. Szolnoki MÁV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerdt Trettvik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gerdt Trettvik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Kurt Fogedby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mátyás Lisztes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The wind increased when Kurt Fogedby made the kick off in the second half. Mátyás Lisztes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Fogedby went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, Long Dolby's Kurt Fogedby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mátyás Lisztes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Fogedby in the 58th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Szolnoki MÁV's Jimeno Eate threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Varga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 62 played minutes Long Dolby got a freekick which was hit by Asger Nelth. Roland Varga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Eate having to interfere. Mátyás Lisztes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Fogedby in the 69th minute of the match. Emesto Muñagorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Eate having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gedeon Csákvári during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Kurt Fogedby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Roland Varga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Fogedby struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mátyás Lisztes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Dolby. Long Dolby were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Szolnoki MÁV for a fine match.
