Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Revenge's Filippo Inzaghi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Long Dolby's goalkeeper Jimeno Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Inzaghi. Filippo Inzaghi came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimeno Eate could save by the left post. Jimeno Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kees Koole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Long Dolby's Jimeno Eate got control of the ball when Filippo Inzaghi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Berend Hermensen. Aleksandr Vasyutin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Fogedby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Dolby were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Revenge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerdt Trettvik took the corner. After taking down the ball on Long Dolby's corner Gerdt Trettvik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aleksandr Vasyutin quite easily take care of the ball. Jimeno Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Koole, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Long Dolby defense, Kees Koole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Eate. The Long Dolby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Eate should have stopped the shot. Karsten Nelausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kees Koole might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kees Koole ran back to his position shaking his head. Klement Nawrocki got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ian Fagan. 39 minutes into the game, one of Long Dolby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jimeno Eate had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Kees Koole's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Revenge's Kees Koole made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimeno Eate was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Kurt Fogedby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Filippo Inzaghi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Eate was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ian Fagan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Koole in the 64th minute of play forced Long Dolby's goalkeeper Jimeno Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Kees Koole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Long Dolby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Berend Hermensen was slow to take the kick. During this time Revenge's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Berend Hermensen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimeno Eate quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jimeno Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Koole in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Long Dolby's zone, Kees Koole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Eate came out of the goal and Kees Koole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klement Nawrocki made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Revenge's Paul Klee. 91 minutes into the game, Filippo Inzaghi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jimeno Eate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Long Dolby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Revenge.
