Agustín Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Sandell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Mauricio Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Kristineberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moneyball the free kick. The supporters of Moneyball booed when IFK Kristineberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the IFK Kristineberg defense, Agustín Álvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georg Sandell. The IFK Kristineberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georg Sandell should have stopped the shot. After 20 minutes, Boris Runberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Kristineberg and the Moneyball players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, one of IFK Kristineberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Georg Sandell had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Cheng Wei Yan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 24 played minutes IFK Kristineberg got a freekick which was hit by Folke Strömberg. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Kristineberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cheng Wei Yan was slow to take the kick. During this time Moneyball's players had a chance to rest. IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 29th minute of play. Georg Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 31st minute of the match. Dalmo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Öman in the 32nd minute of play. Agustín Álvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Álvarez in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Sandell saved IFK Kristineberg from getting behind. After having played for 39 minutes, Agustín Álvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneyball's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Álvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 41st minute of play. Moneyball were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after IFK Kristineberg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cheng Wei Yan took the corner. After taking down the ball on Moneyball's corner Cheng Wei Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georg Sandell quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Roberto Bieito hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Björkqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, IFK Kristineberg's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Álvarez came free, but Georg Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Álvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Håkan Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Moneyball's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cheng Wei Yan in the 73rd minute. Moneyball's Cheng Wei Yan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Georg Sandell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dalmo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siphokazi Steyn in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Siphokazi Steyn put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Tasso. Dalmo Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Öman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Álvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Sandell having to make a save. IFK Kristineberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Álvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Agustín Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Sandell was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Natanael Matorin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Moneyball's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
