Khachatryan's Merlin Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 林桦耀 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Turek, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute 卓海桑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Khachatryan booed when 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柯洋鹰 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 林桦耀 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Castro in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Denis Bravichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 29th minute of play forced 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC's goalkeeper 林桦耀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute 卓海桑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but 林桦耀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed 林桦耀 as he didn't even see the shot coming. 林桦耀 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merlin Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Khachatryan's Wawrzyniec Budrewicz was substituted for Petros Oganesyan. Khachatryan's Arno Martirosyan was substituted for Tigran Kirakosyan. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merlin Castro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Emil Turek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Turek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, 郝崇奕 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Sung McKinley notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC's 林桦耀. 林桦耀 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Bravichev came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Denis Bravichev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tigran Balayan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Khachatryan were furious when Marquis Kenny was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Aírton França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal and Aírton França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC played a much better game than Khachatryan and deserved their victory. The Khachatryan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
