Valentin Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tigran Balayan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Tartalo in the 14th minute of play. Tigran Balayan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Jacob in the 15th minute. Valentin Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Merlin Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio did a great save. In the 23rd minute Tigran Kirakosyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Khachatryan's Merlin Castro in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Franja Dorada's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Khachatryan booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Bessone didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Franja Dorada's Bülent Ruge in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Wei Shu in the 33rd minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Valentin Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khachatryan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Merlin Castro in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tigran Kirakosyan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valentin Licerio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Merlin Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tigran Kirakosyan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Valentin Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khachatryan. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Tartalo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tigran Balayan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Jacob's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Jacob in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tigran Balayan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Arno Martirosyan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio. Valentin Licerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arno Martirosyan hit a great ball. Valentin Licerio was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Merlin Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Merlin Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Benigno Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Tartalo in the 86th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hu Wei Shu took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Licerio. Valentin Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Sung McKinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Khachatryan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Franja Dorada throughout the match.
